Le diagnostic de l’\u00e9pilepsie
<\/strong>Il s’agit de la famille K\u00f6se, qui vit \u00e0 la fois en Allemagne et en Turquie. En octobre 2020, leur fille de 10 ans, Yagmur Tuana, a fait une crise de \u00ab grand mal \u00bb la nuit. Vers 5h30 du matin, le lit a \u00e9t\u00e9 violemment secou\u00e9. La m\u00e8re, Arzu K\u00f6se, a regard\u00e9 sa fille et pensait qu’elle plaisantait, parce qu’elle entendait aussi des g\u00e9missements. Elle a allum\u00e9 et a \u00e9t\u00e9 choqu\u00e9e. Les yeux de sa fille \u00e9taient r\u00e9vuls\u00e9s, elle ne pouvait pas respirer. Elle \u00e9tait extr\u00eamement tendue et tremblait. Arzu a pris peur et a r\u00e9agi instinctivement. Heureusement, la grand-m\u00e8re \u00e9tait \u00e9galement \u00e0 la maison et ensemble, elles ont mis la fillette de 10 ans sous la douche, jusqu’\u00e0 ce qu’elle reprenne connaissance. R\u00e9trospectivement, elle ne sait pas si sa fille a d\u00e9j\u00e0 eu des convulsions, car elle dormait toujours dans une chambre diff\u00e9rente.<\/p>\n

Exp\u00e9rience avec l’\u00e9pilepsie
<\/strong>Elle a confi\u00e9 sa fille aux soins du Dr. Bosch \u00e0 F\u00fcrth et a senti qu\u2019elle \u00e9tait entre de bonnes mains. Le processus classique de diagnostic et de traitement commence : d’abord un EEG de veille (ondes \u00e9pileptiques visibles), puis un EEG de privation de sommeil (ondes \u00e9pileptiques plus extr\u00eames) et une IRM avec l’indication que l’\u00e9pilepsie est \u00ab b\u00e9nigne \u00bb. Autrement dit, selon l’\u00e9tat actuel de la science m\u00e9dicale, l’\u00e9pilepsie pourrait se d\u00e9velopper jusqu’\u00e0 la pubert\u00e9. Cependant, apr\u00e8s l’IRM, une \u00ab ombre \u00bb a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9tect\u00e9e, ce qui est anormal. Si Yagmur ne parvient pas \u00e0 surmonter son \u00e9pilepsie, il est possible que cela soit li\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00ab l’ombre \u00bb. Cette question ne trouvera de r\u00e9ponse que dans quelques ann\u00e9es.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 trait\u00e9e avec Ospolot 50mg ; elle prend 100 mg le matin et 100 mg le soir. L’EEG de veille a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 de nouveau apr\u00e8s l’ajustement de la m\u00e9dication et il semblait bon, mais l’EEG de sommeil n’a montr\u00e9 aucun changement. Les ondes \u00e9pileptiques sont toujours visibles et les crises d’\u00e9pilepsie nocturnes sont \u00e9galement toujours pr\u00e9sentes.<\/p>\n

Changement de vie suite au diagnostic d’\u00e9pilepsie
<\/strong>Yagmur aimait se baigner, nager et grimper, mais le m\u00e9decin lui a d\u00e9conseill\u00e9 de le faire en raison des dangers que cela repr\u00e9sente. Tout le reste se passe bien, peu de choses ont chang\u00e9. Seules les nuits sont diff\u00e9rentes. \u00c0 cause de l’\u00e9pilepsie, la m\u00e8re ne pouvait plus dormir, alors le Dr. Bosch a recommand\u00e9 et prescrit un syst\u00e8me de surveillance de l’\u00e9pilepsie NightWatch.<\/p>\n

Demande d’aide pour l’\u00e9pilepsie
<\/strong>Arzu a contact\u00e9 sa compagnie d’assurance maladie, AOK Bayern. Malheureusement, l’AOK Bayern a initialement refus\u00e9 NightWatch, parce qu’il n’y avait pas encore de num\u00e9ro de dispositif m\u00e9dical officiel pour l’Allemagne. En f\u00e9vrier, la demande de remboursement a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9pos\u00e9e et fin ao\u00fbt, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 approuv\u00e9e, car l\u2019AOK Bayern avait attribu\u00e9 un num\u00e9ro interne de dispositif m\u00e9dical \u00e0 NightWatch. Elle en \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s heureuse et soulag\u00e9e. Acheter NightWatch ne lui aurait pas \u00e9t\u00e9 possible \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

La vie quotidienne et le sommeil avec l’\u00e9pilepsie
<\/strong>Jusqu’\u00e0 ce qu’elle obtienne NightWatch, Arzu \u00e9tait presque toujours \u00e9veill\u00e9e jusqu’\u00e0 3 ou 4 heures du matin. Elle ne dormait pratiquement pas et cette p\u00e9riode a \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s lourde. Elle s’est toujours demand\u00e9 : \u00ab Et si elle ne s’\u00e9tait pas r\u00e9veill\u00e9e la nuit de la premi\u00e8re crise, et si sa fille avait eu une crise s\u00e9v\u00e8re pendant la nuit, qu\u2019elle n\u2019aurait pas remarqu\u00e9e ?<\/p>\n

Avec NigtWatch les choses se sont beaucoup mieux pass\u00e9es. Maintenant, elle se l\u00e8ve quand NightWatch l’alerte. Sa fille dort \u00e0 nouveau dans sa propre chambre. Par habitude, elle v\u00e9rifie toujours la nuit, mais elle dort beaucoup mieux, se sent plus en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et se sent \u00e0 nouveau forte et confiante.<\/p>\n

Le conseil d’Arzu pour faire face \u00e0 l’\u00e9pilepsie
<\/strong>\u00ab Une m\u00e8re avec un enfant malade a toujours peur, mais les parents doivent \u00eatre forts pour leurs enfants. \u00bb Si les parents peuvent bien g\u00e9rer une situation, les enfants peuvent \u00e9galement mieux la g\u00e9rer. \u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab C’est dommage que NightWatch soit encore trop m\u00e9connu et n’ait pas encore de nom. Il faut faire plus de publicit\u00e9 ! Je ne connaissais pas l’existence de NightWatch, et sans la recommandation du m\u00e9decin, je ne l’aurais probablement pas su. \u00bb<\/p>\n
