L'\u00e9pilepsie touche des millions de personnes dans le monde, dont beaucoup souffrent de crises que les m\u00e9dicaments ne parviennent pas \u00e0 contr\u00f4ler compl\u00e8tement. Les soignants sont confront\u00e9s \u00e0 un stress \u00e9norme et \u00e0 des difficult\u00e9s pour apporter un soutien en temps voulu, en particulier la nuit. Conscients de cette situation, les centres n\u00e9erlandais de traitement de l'\u00e9pilepsie SEIN et Kempenhaeghe se sont lanc\u00e9s dans des recherches novatrices sur la d\u00e9tection de l'\u00e9pilepsie nocturne, en passant de la surveillance des mouvements \u00e0 l'analyse de la fr\u00e9quence cardiaque et des mouvements.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

En 2011, le consortium Tele-Epilepsie a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9, r\u00e9unissant l'UMC Utrecht, l'Universit\u00e9 de technologie d'Eindhoven, SEIN, Kempenhaeghe, des groupes de patients et EpilepsieNL. Ensemble, ils ont mis au point un syst\u00e8me innovant permettant d'avertir \u00e0 distance les soignants des crises cliniquement urgentes, offrant ainsi une solution simple mais efficace, tant dans le cadre professionnel qu'\u00e0 domicile.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

S'appuyant sur des ann\u00e9es de collaboration, LivAssured a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9e en 2013 pour mettre sur le march\u00e9 cette technologie qui change la vie. \u00c0 la base, il s'agit d'un algorithme unique qui d\u00e9tecte les crises d'\u00e9pilepsie cliniquement urgentes en analysant le rythme cardiaque et les sch\u00e9mas de mouvement. Depuis son lancement en 2018, NightWatch est devenue une solution de premier plan dans le monde entier, avec des milliers d'utilisateurs. Elle est reconnue comme le dispositif de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence pour la gestion des crises nocturnes, le dispositif est r\u00e9f\u00e9renc\u00e9 dans les directives nationales et internationales, et NightWatch est de plus en plus rembours\u00e9e dans davantage de pays.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
